10/14/2002 The season standings have been updated with the results of the October 13, 2002 race and are posted here. Please note that we are posting the best ten races for the season total, though some drivers have not yet completed ten races yet. The race results from the October 13 race have been posted here. The next practice sessions will be Wednesday October 16. The next race is Sunday, October 20. The last rainout will be made up on Sunday October 20.

09/15/2002 Today's race was a rainout, but thank you to the dedicated karters who came out in the hope that the weather would break and we could get the show completed. The weather did not cooperate and we never even got started. The rain date for today's race will be October 20. Since today was a double points race and two money classes, we are going to make the next race on Sunday, September 29th, a double points race with two money classes. We will still have the pit ladies race too. There are no more Saturday practice sessions. The next practice session will be Wednesday September 25. The next race is Sunday, September 29 and is a double points race.

07/15/2002 Our booth at the Marconi Grand Prix was very successful this past weekend. The many club volunteers spoke to hundreds of people interested in karting. Pictures of some of them may be found on this page.

07/08/2002 The weight for the Alpine Valley Briggs Restricted Junior will be raised from 285 pounds to 300 pounds effective on the July 21 race. This class will now match the WKA weight and keep us consistent with other tracks.

07/06/2002 To all new visitors, our gates open at 9:00 AM for a $6 admission per person. Practice sessions for the kart racers will begin at 10:30 AM. A driver's meeting will be held at noon followed immediately by the kart races. Directions to the track can be found on this page. We have a fully stocked concession stand serving hot sandwiches and cold drinks and snacks for reasonable prices.

The season standings after completing five of six races can be found here The next practice sessions will be Wednesday July 3, and Saturday, July 7. The next race is Sunday, July 7. Remember that the dragstrip is having a big meet on July 3, but you can enter through our gate paying our fee for a big savings, and you help your club too. We are also planning a potluck picnic that same night during practice. Bring a dish to share and join the party.

06/25/2002 The season standings have been updated to include worker bonus points for those who have worked three events and can be found here. Sign up now to make sure you have the opportunity to earn 30 bonus points. Just send an email to Tom Eisele at tom.eisele@ckra.org who is coordinating the track workers or send an email to Bonnie Marsh at bonnie.marsh@ckra.org who is coordinating registration and scoring.
