| Sunday July 7, 2002 was a bright, sunny day that was a pleasant relief to 34 karters after dealing with hot, hazy conditions the week before trying to handle the Thompson 40. Each week a few new faces show up and we hope that we've made a good impression and that you'll join our club and come back and race with us again. Please don't forget the hard work put in each event by the volunteer track workers. The recipient of their 30 worker bonus points certainly won't forget! This week was a double points race for all classes, and a sponsor provided cash awards to the top three in Cometic Gasket Briggs Medium and DSTP Motorsports Stock Piston Port classes provided by Sean Cook Racing Engines and Javorek Architectural Metals. | ||
