| 2003 Fremont Motorsports Swap Meet | ||
| These pictures are from the 2003 spring Fremont Motorsports Swap Meet where we shared a booth with Scott and Brad Smith of Fremont Raceway Park. This event continues to develop a partnership between our tracks so that we can both provide better opportunities for the karters that race at either track. Since this swap meet was a general motorsports event, we were able to present karting to other racers who may not have known about karting, or had just forgotten. The raffle kart was on display so that we could continue to sell tickets as a fund raiser for our club. In case you haven't heard, we, (CKRA), are raffling off a complete Coyote Widetrack with a Briggs Animal motor. Additonal information on the raffle can be found here. The weather was absolutely miserable and definitely hurt attendance at the event as it rained hard all day long. We had an in-door booth, but three quarters of the vendors were out doors. Your webmaster is still getting used to this new camera and some of the images are less than wonderful. Next time I'll make the effort and bring my tripod.
