Welcome to CKRA.org!
You've found the official web site for Championship Kart Racing Association, (CKRA). We are a club of karters running the sprint asphalt road course at Thompson Kart Raceway.
Become involved! We are always looking for help in club operations. Not to say that we don't want to see more racers at the track, because we do, but not everyone has the budget or inclination. There are many other ways to be a part of racing at Thompson Kart Raceway. Contact us to find out.
We at CKRA look forward to racing with you at Thompson soon!

Our track now includes a magnetic strip by Alfano across the finish line that is used with lap timing sensors. Beacons can be blocked by an adjacent kart or bad aim, but the magnetic sensor is always there. Most instruments such as Digatron and Micron have sensors that use the magnetic strip, not just Alfano instruments. Thanks to Rex the Wrench for getting this installed.
