Novice Group, 8 to 12
(instructional)
This group will be run on an as-needed basis to provide a place for new participants to learn to race without the hazard of running with seasoned veterans. The group will be comprised of 80cc Cadet and Jr. Sportsman Raptors and Animals. Finishing position will be as if they finished at the tail end of the appropriate class. For example, if there were 6 80cc Cadets in the 80cc Cadet class, the highest finishing 80cc Cadet in the Novice Group would recieve 7th place points for the day. And so on with any other Cadets. The same practice would apply to the Jr. Sportsman Raptors and Animals. The intent of this group is to provide a less intense place to learn how to drive and race.
