Welcome to the official website of CKRA Grand Prix!
The Championship Kart Racing Association (CKRA) is happy to sponsor again this year the eigth annual CKRA Grand Prix. This year the race will again be run on CKRA's home track, Thompson Kart Raceway in Thompson, Ohio.
The charity race will again benefit Rainbow Babies & Chilren's Hospital. A part of University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, Rainbow Babies & Children's is a world leader in the treatment of children and ranked in the top 5 children's hospitals in the nation. As part of the Rainbow Babies & Children's Circle of Friends, CKRA's goal is give back to this great organization that has improved the lives of so many.
This year's event format will be a kart fest, an entire weekend of karting! CKRA Grand Prix will include the grand prix race, swap meet, informational karting seminar, media day, celebrity race, vintage kart racing, pot luck dinner, cookout, bonfire, music, and of course plenty of laps around the Thompson Kart Raceway track.
